James Murphy and co. have kindly opened the gates to the DFA mansion for a series of videos that show what life with LCD Soundsystem is like. These album prequels confirm that life is not fair. As if their music wasn't good enough, we now have to live with the knowledge that they make their beats in a mansion studio with stockpiled synths almost falling out of the windows. There's also the added luxury of a swimming pool so Mr. Murphy can cool down should he ever get his disco knickers in a twist.
Something tells me my first listen of the album is going to be tainted by flashes of all-white outfits and people lying around on the floor listening to the piano. Apart from that, it's definitely sizing up to be a great listen.
