Hey there,
This is just a quick email to let you know about what's going on with Work:Ethic.
First of all, we'd just like to say a massive 'thankyou' to everyone who has taken the time to read the website and show their support since we launched 3 weeks ago. Since the idea was hatched a lot of work has gone into the site (and continues to do so) so we are really chuffed (and relieved!) that people are interested in what we are doing.
Since the site launched we've been working hard on a bunch of new features, which are now up on the site for you to see. There's an in-depth interview with producer Kid Kanevil, who recounts his career to date and also gives a cautionary insight into the world of major label music. It's refreshing to read someone speaking so honestly about their experiences. There's also a feature on the poet James Nash, as well as a look at the 'Art By Offenders' show at the Royal Festival Hall, which is much recommended.
The other big thing we have to tell you about is our podcast- yes, it's here! The 'Live to Listen' Podcast has finally arrived. I'm not going to waffle on about it here- get yourself up onto the site and have a listen for yourself.
Please keep in contact with us and thanks for all of your ideas so far. We've lined up some great names for the next few months, including Architeq, James Holden and many more which I don't want to jinx.
Keep reading and keep listening.
Much love
The Work:Ethic team
